My brother and his family came up from Georgia for a surprise visit. My sister-in-law, Meghan, brought with her a bag of clothes that no longer fit her. I got to go “shopping” from her cast-offs… which is awesome. I’ve gotten more compliments wearing clothes she’s given me than I’ve ever gotten wearing clothes I’ve bought myself. She has great taste.
So I brought home a large trash bag full of clothes to try on. I was conducting my own personal fashion show in my bedroom while Tom gave TJ his bath tonight. When TJ got out of the tub and came in to see me, he said the sweetest thing.
“Mommy, you look beautiful! You’re going to be too beautiful!”
My heart absolutely melted. The comment was completely unprompted. My son thinks I’m beautiful. Too beautiful, in fact.
I have the best little boy in the world.

A son’s compliment is the best in the world. It makes you feel so good especially when they are spontaneous.
They always seem to know the right thing to say at the right time. You just have to love kids…so adorable!
