To assign a Buddy Icon to yourself: Click the icon’s image. When you’re online, your icon will appear in the lower-left corner of your buddies’ Instant Messenger windows. To assign a Buddy Icon to a buddy: Right-click the icon and save it to your PC. (Hint: Rename the icon so you’ll remember it later.) Then, in your Buddy List® window, select “People” and “Select Buddy Icon”. Click your buddy’s screen name, and find your saved icon using the “Browse PC” button. Your buddy’s new icon will appear in the lower-left corner of your Instant Messenger window.
