I showed extreme patience when I walked in the door tonight and found TJ in tears and Tom ready to throttle him. They had a 20 minute sobbing ordeal when Tom just tried to tell TJ that running water in his sneakers was not a good thing to do. And then, after I was patting myself on the back for diffusing the situation and getting TJ to apologize to Tom and say he'd never put his shoes in the water again, TJ decided to be as annoying as he possibly could. Very persistently. And I didn't freak out. Which is why I deserve the award. I’m giving the award to myself tonight. He understands tomorrow means we have to go to sleep and the sun has to come up, but he doesn't like waiting until the right time tomorrow either. 9 days is just throwing him for a loop.
