Dear TJ,
I was ready to sell you to the gypsies today. Temper tantrums about TV shows, climbing all over me to the point of hurting me at lunch, throwing a fit when you thought you lost your quarter at the grocery store… And then I took you to the playground to let you get out your energy and all of the crazy. We were there for about three hours. But when it was time to leave, you had another meltdown.
Not only did you climb the playground equipment to avoid having to leave, you ran away from Daddy on the way to the car. You didn’t stop when he said stop. (You can get hurt if you don’t stop running when we tell you to! What if there had been a car coming?) You talked back to him when he called you back over. And then, to top it all off, you spit at him in the car.
You earned yourself a 20-minute timeout in your room when we got home. (A new record!) You screamed for the entire time. Daddy and I are waiting for you to figure out that a timeout in your room could actually be fun if you stop complaining about it and play with your toys instead.

Ugh, sorry today was such a rough day. I hope that everyone gets a lot of rest tomorrow and TJ has an all around better day.
ugh- sounds like my day on thursday! daughter TO was 15 minutes, TWICE!!!
