Just keep breathing and keep up the mantra - this too will pass... it gets better - my two ( aged 5 and 3) can get cereal and turn on the tv in the mornings by themselves. just as well - they are up at 6 am and thankfully usually get distrated by toys or colouring in to want to turn the telly on.
