Free Pancakes at IHOP Today to Benefit Children’s Miracle Network

by Christina on February 24, 2009

If you and your kids have a bit of cabin fever, consider taking them to IHOP today to celebrate National Pancake Day!

IHOP is offering a free short stack of pancakes to customers today in return for a donation to Children’s Miracle Network.  I know that TJ is a little pancake monster, so I think we’ll be heading to IHOP for dinner tonight. (We’ll be going early to avoid the dinner crowds, though; I don’t think he’s up for waiting an hour to be seated!)

Children’s Miracle Network is a non-profit organization that raises money for children’s hospitals across North America.  IHOP hopes to raise $1 million for Children’s Miracle Network today.

Even if you might have been able to turn down free pancakes, can you turn down free pancakes that come with the added benefit of helping sick kids get well? I didn’t think so. Enjoy a meal out with your family at IHOP, and help kids at the same time!

Oh, I understand. There were dozens of kids there by the time we left at 5:45. But the promotion runs until 10:00 pm, so you can always wait and go after all the little ones are in bed!
