I need your help. My brother and my sister-in-law just can’t catch a break. After a rough year in the real estate industry, Joe was laid off from his job only a few months after getting his Realtor’s license. Because he was considered self-employed while working for the real estate agency, he could not collect unemployment. The head gasket blew on his car, and there was no money to replace it, so they’re down a car. Yesterday, Meghan was laid off from her job. Two parents not working, and they have a six month old to think about, in addition to their mortgage and everything else. She’s a big girl, too… they’re already starting to look at 12M clothes for her.
Joe and Meghan live in the Sugar Hill, GA area. If you know of any job openings there or in a telecommuting capacity, I would be SO grateful if you could send me the info.
Meghan has experience as a sales assistant and an administrative assistant. She’s done some accounting work, but not for as long as the rest of it. She would be an excellent addition to a local business team, or perfect as your new virtual assistant.
Joe is best at sales, but in this economy, even the best salesman has a hard time selling cars or houses because people just can’t get financed. He has worked on both sides of the real estate market, as a mortgage officer and as a Realtor. He’s a hard worker and a fast learner.
Joe and Meghan aren’t the type of people to accept handouts, but I am trying to put together a care package for them anyways. If you have spare baby clothes, food, formula, etc., and want to help out, I’d be happy to collect everything and ship it on down.
