I am so thankful for this article. I also learned today that all of our christmas lights, christmas tree, christmas decorations, extension cords, all electrical cords, my kids sidewalk chalk, their plastic animal toys they have been chewing on for a few years now, and many other items in my home have lead in them. I am scheduling them a lead test, although my kids' pediatrician will tell me that it's not necessary, I know him. But I am going to insist anyway, especially since my 2 1/2 year old son has speech and learning disabilities. Thank you.
